The new Huanggang Port

The redeveloped Huanggang Port replaced passenger clearance at the old Lok Ma Chau Control Point on 12 October 2026. The Hong Kong Government's announcement says general passengers of cross-boundary private cars get out at the drop-off area and walk to the immigration hall with their belongings, while the driver clears the vehicle.
